TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CAMP ALDENHAM
1. These Terms and Conditions form part of an agreement (“The Agreement”) between you
and Camp Aldenham for the purchase of a Holiday for a child or children (“The Camper”,
such term to include where appropriate more than one child). Confirmation of your booking will
follow after receipt of your booking form plus the appropriate fee. Payment of the fee is
regarded as evidence of your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
2. Cancellation of your holiday, for whatever reason, must be notified immediately to us in
writing, by letter or email. Cancellations are subject to the following charges: More than 56 days before
commencement date: 30% of the total holiday price. 56-29 days: 40% of the total holiday
price. 28-15 days: 50% of the holiday price. 14-1 days: 100% of the holiday price. On or
after the commencement date: 100% of the holiday price. Cancellation charges may be
reclaimed from your insurance where the cancellation falls within the terms as stated.
Insurance premiums cannot be refunded in any circumstances.
3. Bookings may not be transferred to dates not in the same calendar year as the original booking.
4. Bookings are not transferable to other children.
5. At least 24 hours notice must be given for a booking to be transferred.
6. Refunds are not given. Any cancellation will be dealt with under section 2 of these Terms and Conditions.
7. It will not be possible to transfer a booking if there is no space available in the appropriate age
group on the requested day.
8. Certain activities may take place off-site. Children will participate in these activities unless we
specifically receive written notification from parents/guardians to the contrary.
9. We reserve the right to exclude or refuse at any time prior to and during the holiday if, in our
opinion, that person is incompatible with the general well being of and enjoyment of others. Any additional costs will be at the expense of the person acting in "loco parentis" and no refund will be made.
10. The organisers reserve the right to amend the programme where this is found to be
necessary.
11. Camp Aldenham reserves the right to use photographs in any advertising material taken
during Camp of any child whose parent/guardian has given image consent. The photographs,
negatives and films are the property of Camp Aldenham.
12. Camp Aldenham; its servants, agents and employees are not under any liability whatsoever in
respect of personal injury, sickness, loss or damage caused to course members.
13. The Organisers cannot accept any responsibility for unaccompanied children for more than 15 minutes before or after the given starting and finishing times respectively.
14. All Camp Aldenham members will be temporary members of Aldenham School.
15. Regulations made for the safety and comfort of Camp Aldenham members must be observed.
16. The Organisers reserve the right to amend the holiday prices where this is found to be necessary.
17. The Laws of England govern this agreement and the parties to it irrevocably submit to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
