GENERAL / SPECIALIST GROUP LEADERS

Easter Week 1 - £168.50 pw

Easter Week 2 and Summer - £210.50 pw 

GENERAL/SPECIALIST GROUP LEADERS - oversee the organisation, safety and implementation of the timetable for a particular age group. This may involve supervision of up to 45 children and 5 Monitors, following an outline programme laid down by the Camp Director. This position would suit trainee teachers or those with relevant experience of similar holiday camps.

SPECIALIST GROUP LEADERS - are responsible for organising and instructing a particular activity to children aged between 3 and 14. We are currently seeking staff with current National Governing Body qualifications and / or relevant experience in any of the following areas: go carting and arts & crafts.

 

GENERAL MONITORS

Easter Week 1 - £139.00 pw

Easter Week 2 and Summer - £173.50 pw

GENERAL MONITORS - work as part of a larger group, supervised by a Group Leader. They are responsible for the care and safety of children under their control and for organising some of the more general activities as directed by their Group Leader. They may also be asked to act as an Extended Day Monitor (see below.)

 

POOL GUARDS

In recognition of extra responsibility for health and safety in the swimming pool environment an additional £10.80 per session will be paid.

 

EXTENDED DAY MONITOR

(from 8.30 to 9.30am) Easter Week 1 - £20.00 pw

Easter Week 2 and Summer - £25.00 pw

(from 3.30 to 6pm) Easter Week 1 - £50.00 pw

Easter Week 2 and Summer - £62.00 pw

In addition to their regular duties, any member of staff may be asked to act as an Extended Day Monitor. This involves keeping a register of those children booked onto the Extended Day service, organising activities for the children and ensuring a safe transfer of children to / from parents in the morning and/or afternoon

 

FIRST AIDER

Easter Week 1 - £143.00 pw

Easter Week 2 and Summer - £178.50 pw

 

NURSE

Easter Week 1 - £219.50 pw

Easter Week 2 and Summer - £274.00 pw

The majority of duties will take place in our equipped Medical Room to deal with whatever illnesses or accidents may arise amongst the children and staff, as well as assisting with administrative work in the Camp Office. In the past, this post has been job shared and applicants may wish to continue this practice.

 

‘ODD JOB’

Easter Week 1 - £102.50 pw

Easter Week 2 and Summer - £128.50 pw

This job would suit a younger person (aged between 15 and 17.) The work involves tasks such as ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the facilities and site, preparing morning and afternoon refreshments for the staff and children, serving in the Camp Tuck Shop, as well as many other ‘one off’ tasks which present themselves during the course of a working day. This post carries no responsibility for children attending the Camp.

 

OFFICE ASSISTANT

Easter Week 1 - £196.50 pw (17th March to 4th April)
Easter Week 2 and Summer - £229.50 pw (7th July to 15th August)

This office based job requires the ability to deal with customers, answer the telephone, input data as well as cope with general office duties. The working day is 7.5 hours although timings for individual days may vary between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
